Overview
BMC201 Web Technology is a 4-credit course (3-1-0) for MCA Semester 2 students at Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, following the AKTU MCA Model Curriculum 2020-21.
This course introduces modern web development with both front-end and back-end technologies. Students will learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, Spring, and REST APIs through lectures, labs, and assignments.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Build responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Create interactive UI behaviour with JavaScript and DOM manipulation.
- Develop server-side applications using JSP, Servlets, and Spring Boot.
- Work with databases and web server deployment basics.
- Apply web standards, architecture principles, and debugging practices.
